Two former CDAC Summer scholars are now graduate students in the research group of current CDAC Academic Partner Dion Heinz and colleague Andy Campbell, in the University of Chicago’s Department of the Geophysical Sciences. Bethany Chidester was a Summer Scholar in 2010, while she was a student at the University of Toledo; Anne Davis was a Summer Scholar in 2015, while she was a student at Caltech. Both worked with CDAC-affiliated Carnegie Staff Scientist Tim Strobel.

Victor Rozsa, a Summer Scholar with Tim Strobel in 2012 while a student at Hillsdale College, also is a graduate student at the University of Chicago, in the Institute of Molecular Engineering.
