CDAC graduate student Greg Hohensee and his research advisor, CDAC Academic Partner David Cahill at the University of Illinois, have used diamond anvil cell techniques to uncover new physics associated with heat transfer across diamond-metal interfaces.  Their paper, published in Nature Communications, illustrated the critical role of pressure as a thermodynamic variable in exploring the fundamental nature of materials behavior.  More...
