On April 29-May 1, 2006, CDAC will be a co-sponsor of the workshop "Synergy of 21st Century High Pressure Science and Technology," held at the Advanced Photon Source. Similar to last year's CDAC Summer School, this will be held at the APS and will have a strong student focus as well as talks by leading researchers. Leading researchers in all aspects of high-pressure research will be speaking. The goal is to highlight the excitement in the field and to identify its grand challenges, particularly as they relate to the development of new high P-T techniques.
