Former CDAC student Lowell Miyagi has accepted a tenure track faculty position at the University of Utah. Lowell was a student of CDAC Partner Hans-Rudolf Wenk at the University of California - Berkeley. There he studied deformation of materials at high P-T conditions, including perovskite and post-perovskite. After receiving his Ph.D. from Berkeley in 2009, Lowell became a Bateman Fellow at Yale University, where he collaborated with CDAC Partner Kanani Lee.
