Carnegie High School intern Winston Liu (Montgomery Blair High School) has been named a semifinalist in the Siemens Foundation's 2010 competition in Math-Science-Technology. His study was on "Ethane-hydrogen systems under high pressure." Winston has been working in the high-pressure labs under the direction of Jinfu Shu and Ho-kwang Mao.
