Carnegie High School intern Winston Liu (Montgomery Blair High School) was named a semifinalist in the Intel Science Talent Search for 2011. His study, "Ethane-hydrogen systems under high pressure," was conducted in the high-pressure labs under the direction of Jinfu Shu and Ho-kwang Mao.
