CDAC Academic Partner Susannah Dorfman (Michigan State University) has been named a COMPRES Distinguished Lecturer in the field of Mineral Physics for 2017-2018. She will be presenting two different lectures during the coming year: “The Mineral Physics Test Kitchen: Recipies for Earth’s Mantle and Core,” and “Redox in Earth’s Interior: Iron and Carbon.” COMPRES, the Consortium for Mineral Properties Research in Earth Sciences, is supported by the National Science Foundation.
