CDAC Postdoctoral Associates at Carnegie

The Carnegie/Department of Energy Alliance Center at the Carnegie Institution of Washington’s Geophysical Laboratory seeks applications for two postdoctoral associates in the field of physical and biological sciences. Postdoctoral associates within CDAC are being trained with state-of-the-art facilities and are participating in world-class research.  Obligations of the positions include investigation, research, and discovery in the broadest and most liberal manner as in the Carnegie mission statement. 

Minimum qualifications: A Ph.D. in the physical or biological sciences.

Successful candidates are expected to be able to work in both independent and collaborative group environments.

The appointment is for one year, with the potential for renewal for a second year pending progress and available funding. The position is available immediately and will remain open until filled.
