CDAC/HPCAT Talks at the APS March Meeting

A wide variety of CDAC sponsored research was presented at the recent APS March Meeting, held March 5-9 in Denver, CO, including three invited and twenty-four contributed talks. Invited talks were given by Carnegie staff member Ronald Cohen (Geophysical Laboratory), partner Kanani Lee (New Mexico State University) and former post-doctoral associate, Jennifer Jackson (now at Caltech). In addition, abstracts were submitted from partners, students, and affiliated scientists, including graduate students Matt Lucas (Caltech) and Chris Seagle (University of Chicago). Work on hydrogen clathrates carried out by high school student Alexander Levedahl (St. Anselm's Abbey School) was featured in research scientist Maddury Somayazulu's presentation on hydrogen clathrates.
